May. 19th, 2011 03:35 pmВот, получил на днях письмо от Стивена Эндрю, давно никто так не писал о мем творчестве,после таких слов захотелось рисовать с новой силой... И я просто не мог не поместить письмо в мой журнал.
No problem contacting me and thank you for your kind words and compliments, I hope you enjoy the book when you get it.
I had a look at your artwork, they’re very good with a distinctive style and you have a definite talent. I am Scottish and love the German SS with the Kilt on, I think your pencil drawing of the German WW1 stormtrooper figure is excellent…its more realistic and less stylized…if you stick to this different style like in the stormtrooper then your nearly there to be a military artist…build up a collection of figures in this realistic style and in full colour…then start sending them out to military publishers, maybe military magazines first…that’s how I got my break in this game. Once you have had a illustration or two published in a military magazine article then you are taken more seriously by book publishers….it shows that you can deal with deadlines and commissions.
All the best,
Stephen
